"I-I'm fine....I don't think I will be able to rely on them forever...but...thanks.." Liam said. He then dozed off since he was exhausted. He doubted that he could even dream since he was so tired, but he could still sleep.

Brooke watched him sleep, with weary eyes. This boy was troubled. And he wouldn't share his pain. Things for him will get much worse from here on out.

Liam woke up but an hour later. He knew he would not get much sleep, but he lied there, hoping that he would be brought into his sleep again, his eyes closed. He was denied this since two hours have passed without any sleep.

Brooke had fallen asleep. She was leaning across the space that separated the bed and the chair, with the side of her head laying on her arms. One hand gripped the bed sheets, and a look of grief crossed her face.

Liam used a spell to put brooke on an empty bed. She deserved to have a comfortable sleep even if he could not sleep. He took another hour trying to sleep and he finnaly did. Even within nightmares, he was forcing himself to stay asleep.

Brooke's hand twitched and she sat up with a jolt. She was laying on a bed next to Liam. A nurse or something must have put her there. She looked over at the boy and he was asleep, finally, but was drenched in sweat again and was rolling around.

Liam's nightmare went to it's worst part. He found himself chained to a wall and was being forced to watch Brooke be tortured by Rogue. He did all he could to break out of the binding but it was no use. He then saw Rogue holding a large sword, which was aimed right at Brooke's head. Liam tried yelling but his voice was inaudible. He could only watch as ROgue was ready to kill Brooke. With one strong thrust, the sword impaled itself through Brooke's head, killing her
Liam got up with a jolt. "Brooke No!" he yelled before realizing that he was awake. His breathing was labored and he felt sweat on his body. He was incapable of calming down. His body was shaking out of fear of what was happening. He could not believe what was happening. His spirit seemed broken due to the idea of Brook being tortured.

"Liam! I'm right here, everythings okay." She quickly got up and went to Liam's bedside. Brooke threw her arms around his neck and gave him a fierce hug. "What did you dream about this time?" She grabbed his face in her hands and forced him to look at her in the eyes. "And don't lie to me. I can handle it."
